Le thème est autour de la vigne, du vin, du raisin. Sous un éclairage issu du 17e siècle espagnol, les victuailles des terres de Castille forment une composition dynamique, agrémentée d'objets quotidiens qui ajoutent à une beauté simple. Le réalisme n'est pas poussé jusqu'au trompe-l'oeil (technique maitrisée par l'artiste)mais laisse figurer ici et là des touches de brosse et de pinceau rendant l'image encore plus vibrante et donc vivante. The realism doesn't reach the trompe l'oeil effect (technic mastered by the artist) but revealed some brush touches who bring vibrations and life to the painting.
