This painting is of an elderly woman returning to her home in rural South Yemen. The woman worked on a banana farm, which in 2009 was brunt and destroyed in the current civil war. Many of the people in the area have since moved from the countryside and are living as refugees on the outskirts of Aden, the city. It is painted using a plant label on recycled cardboard.
