This painting is of a woman who worked on a banana farm in South Yemen. She was called Fatima and was the farm manager, with thirty employees working under, both male and female. She is returning to her village after a day of work on the farm. The banana plants have all been destroyed by fire and bombings over the past few years in the civil war.
