Artorias the abyss walker is from Dark Souls 1. Slaveknight Gael is from the Ringed City expansion of Dark Souls 3. Two of the faved bosses of the series, these two examplify the ultimate sacrifice. Noble knights during their time, they both succumb to the dark, leaving us to put them down. Slaveknight Gael was a definite homage to Artorias, but he is arguably the most difficult boss of the entire series
